About GJ Mobile Tire Service
Mobile tire service with 24 hour road call service
Located at 1882 Stallcup Rd, Philadelphia, TN 37846, GJ Mobile Tire Service operates as a tire shop serving Philadelphia in Tennessee. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as tire repair shop, tire service, so it may cover more than the name suggests.
Tire shops sell and install new tires, patch punctures, balance wheels and, at most locations, align the suspension. Prices are quoted per tire plus mounting, balancing, valve stems and a state disposal fee for the old set; many shops price-match and include free rotation and flat repair for the life of the tire. Used tire shops sell inspected take-offs for a fraction of the price of new ones, useful for an older car or a single replacement, but check the tread depth (4/32 inch or more) and the DOT date code, since rubber ages even on the shelf. Mobile tire services come to your driveway or the roadside, commercial shops handle semi, trailer, farm and off-road tires, and wheel shops repair and refinish bent or curb-scraped rims.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are Open 24 hours. Its Google rating is 3.9 out of 5 from 15 reviews, a solid but mixed picture; reading the most recent reviews will tell you what to expect.
Philadelphia is in Tennessee, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Philadelphia follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Gerald was fantastic to work with, showed up fixed my tire and sent the truck down the road.. you see reviews about a patch being to expensive… I think it’s awesome that he didn’t try to sell me a tire and as for the price? $350 to get my truck back on the road and not losing by sitting? That’s a steal!! Thank you Gerald!

Gerald’s service was fantastic and he’s a nice guy, too. Coachnet, our motorhome emergency road service provider, dispatched GJ Mobile Tire Service to help us with a flat tire. He called to advise us of his ETA (he made it to us in about a half hour). He had the problem diagnosed and fixed (defective valve stem extension) within 20 minutes. He was helpful, kept me informed, and had all of the equipment on his truck to unmount and remount the inner tire on our dual axle (very heavy) motorhome. I doubt you’ll find a more hardworking guy - especially one who knows his trade exceptionally well. Due to his arrangement with Coachnet, he didn’t present a bill for services to me. Instead, he simply thanked me for the business. That earned him a tip for a job well done. We obviously recommend him highly.

We have 40 vehicles on the road in the Knoxville area daily. We interact with towing and tire companies daily and have great partnerships. Tonight was the worst experience we have had and felt taken advantage of. $325 to patch a tire. Yes we should have asked when I talked to the company. Do not recommend.

Our company had a delivery driver stranded with a flat tire. We felt fortunate because the tire only needed a patch. GJ asked my driver to drive on the rim to get to a better location for him to work. A local stopped and helped get some air in the tire to avoid damage while driving to the requested location. GJ mobile got there and got the tire patched in minutes for a mere $325 dollars. I am local to this area and there are some great tow and tire people. Makes me appreciate even more the way Matlock Tire conducts business. Our bad for not asking the price up front but with never use or recommend this company.

Tell your friends and family about GJ Mobile Tire Service! While on vacation, our camper van got a flat due to a broken air valve. We did not have the correct tools but the professional at GJ got inventive and fixed it anyway! Our experience was extremely professional, friendly, and joyful - we didn’t want to stop talking to the repair man !! The rates are in my opinion too low for the service you get. I cannot recommend GJ enough.
